The Twenties: The Story
The Twenties, a newer Band out of the Lancaster PA area, is made up of a talented team of creative musicians who have just started performing together. Why "The Twenties" ? We actually play music from the entire last hundred years - 1920's to Now ! From the fun sounds of the Roaring Twenties to the Jazz Age, early Rock-'n'-roll, the 60's and 90's Eras on through today's music ( including originals) - The Twenties creates diverse sounds like no one else ! We bring our collective musical versatility and experience to create fresh musical possibilities out of songs you know and love. In our brief existence we have already played for many Lititz and Lancaster Pa Second and Third Music Friday Celebrations, a Block Party, and much more. Explore the site below and learn more about the musical inspiration behind the music.
Alan Dynin
Keyboard and Vocals
Alan brings decades of playing experience in Atlanta to the Lancaster based group, including ATL outfits like
ADSquared, Cledus Jeremiah Jones, OTP and others. He's been a featured act at Jazz Festivals, for the Atlanta Symphony Associates, and varying dance festivals. Alan brings a hard to find combination of classical chops, jazz dexterity, hard rocking blues/boogie skills, and ragtime flying fingers to The Twenties arrangements. He's also a composer and songwriter.
Stephanie Fry
Lead Singer
Stephanie is a lifelong music enthusiast beginning with belting “Afternoon Delight” as a toddler to her mother’s chagrin and amusement. Stephanie has sung in performing choirs throughout school including concert chorale and show choir in college and later going on to sing semi professionally for events and weddings. She also performs with an improvisational theatre group called River Crossing Playback which utilizes music as one of its mediums for storytelling. She is currently a member of the Unitarian Universalist Of Lancaster congregational choir. Stephanie is new to being in a band. With a background in psychology , Stephanie views music as a way to connect with herself and others in meaningful ways.
Eli Sauls
Lead Singer and Guitar
A band wouldn't be complete without its Guitarist. The Twenties couldn’t have asked for a greater talent than Eli Sauls, who plays an instrumental role in the success and musical progression of the group.
Tim Snyder
Drums and Vocals
Tim has been playing professionally for over 40 years. Obsessed with percussion from a young age he has been in a variety of different bands playing many different styles of music but his heart has always been in classic rock, with his roots growing out of that era. Tim has played in many bands to mention a few like Storm, Audio Pi, Hometown Boys, You, Lucille, along with many others and is looking forward to making some new creative inroads with this band.
Logan Sauls
Bass Guitar and Vocals
Adding our newest addition to The Twenties lineup as Bass player and vocals is Logan Sauls. Logan is a enthusiastic new musician and his consistent and solid low end is a welcome addition to the rhythm section of The Twenties
